Nocturne in A Major

Made for a music lover, this piece keeps things clean and geometric with just enough contrast to stay interesting. Maple and walnut set the stage, a single padauk corner drops in like the perfectly placed staccato, with wenge detailing bringing the piece to its final cadence.
A small, elegant place to pause and set down the daily essentials… a tiny intermission for your keys, rings, or whatever usually ends up dancing around your pockets.

Tidal Rogue

This piece brings together Angelique, maple, and wenge beneath a setting Lati sun, where bold, dimensional grain meets crisp, refined detail. The wenge accents draw the eye like a steady bearing, while the gull glides across the surface with the quiet confidence of something that has absolutely stolen a french fry before.
A striking catch-all with coastal rhythm… and a strong dedication to airborne mischief. -

In Tandem

This one came together the best way — by happy accident. The colors caught my eye in a scrap pile, lined up a little too perfectly, and before I knew it, it had turned into this. Each hardwood brings its own natural color to the table — no dyes, no stains, just the wood being dramatic on its own.
Gifted to my sister, who somehow managed to be both the example and the backup plan for most of my life, it felt fitting that the design landed on two wings instead of one. Warm, vibrant, and unapologetically bold… much like the people who raised us, whether we officially asked them to or not.

Shared Distance
Walnut · Maple · Wenge · Zebrawood
This block-style calendar started as my son’s idea for a gift for my dad. How we ended up here… I don’t have a better explanation beyond who I am as a person. It turned into a mom-and-son collaboration involving wood selection, a surprising amount of elbow grease, and only several minor meltdowns — whether they were mine or his, I’ll let you decide.
The lettering is entirely in my son’s handwriting, which somehow creates the illusion of watching time pass from a distance… while still feeling a little closer to each other. We may be far apart in miles, but we still exist in the same day.
